This year, Bankard is celebrating its 25th anniversary in the credit card issuing business. At the same time, the company is also re-branding its credit cards from Bankard to RCBC Bankard and issuing new cards bearing this new name.

This re-branding is in celebration of the company's strengthened partnership with banking industry stalwart Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC).
The question topmost in your mind now is perhaps what will happen to your existing Bankard credit card/s?
We are very pleased to inform you that you will still continue to enjoy the same, if not even greater, benefits and rewards you have always enjoyed with your existing card/s. You will receive a re-branded card bearing the name RCBC Bankard upon expiry of your current card (except if your card is a myDream JCB). Meanwhile, keep using your existing Bankard so you can maximize all the exciting benefits and rewards that are available to you. All active Bankard-issued cards will continue to be accepted by merchants here and abroad regardless of whether these cards are branded RCBC Bankard, Bankard, or myDream JCB.
